Art should always evoke emotion. My art is created with the understanding that the piece should ultimately reach out and invite you into my world, even though you may be far from Columbus, Ohio.
Design and colors have always influenced me. Pen and ink with pencil is my medium of choice followed closely by acrylic, tinted glazing with a gel medium added, applied by both brush and the palette knife. Both of these mediums offer me more control and therefore, the best execution.
I currently offer giclée prints on this site, but originals are only available at art shows or as commissioned pieces. Please contact Sallie if you are interested in creating a special piece for yourself or a loved one.
