As an experienced artist for over thirty years with numerous accolades and accomplishments (including recent acceptance into "The Art Review" for emerging artists in both Europe and the U.S.), Sallie regularly works with India ink, acrylic paints, and has recently created a alluring, yet tasteful pen and ink collection entitled "Pearls." This collection highlights Sallie's mastering of pen and ink. She sold three of these images and was later commissioned to produce two more for clients.

All of Sallie's work is inspired by a love of life, nature and people and seeks to sell her art by tapping into our many emotions. It is her goal to bring beauty and color into our lives.

Sallie, having been widowed at a very early age, cherishes life. She views life as a gift of which every moment should be savored. She is blessed with five great children, including 29 year-old triplet sons, an amazing first grandchild, Sam, a beautiful daughter-in-law and a wonderful husband, all of whom continuously inspire Sallie in her work. Forever at Sallie's side is Ani, Sallie's twelve-year-old golden retriever who serves as a constant reminder of how precious life and loyalty are in this world today.

Up and Coming!

Though Sallie now lives in Columbus, Ohio, she spent some time in Florence, Italy. Inspired by her tenure in Florence, Sallie is preparing a collection preliminarily entitled, "The Masked Balls and the Opera." This collection will reflect the mystery of these events, especially during the 1800's in Florence, Italy. She will also be unveiling a four-piece ensemble of floral paintings. Look for an unveiling of both of these collections in Spring 2010!
