Birches in a Row

from $70.00

This painting was given to my husband. I was widowed when my triplet sons, Drew, Darin and Daniel were six months old. My daughter Lori was only four. I remarried the most wonderful man who had a son who just fit right into my mix of dogs and kids. Everyday, we all feel blessed . He has been my inspiration and always walked hand in hand with my children. I think my late husband picked him out just for us. I brought our children to always realize that there are sadder stories than my own. My husband Joe, never wanted to go. Now look at all the Dad's of the world that just walk right out that door and never come home again!

Original piece: India ink with pen and acrylic ink applied by brush on 500lb cold-pressed paper.

Purchased print is a limited-edition, professional glicée print, rendered on high-quality archival matte paper.  The glicée print realistically displays the textures associated with pen and ink art.  The standard print includes a sizable white border surrounding the artwork (as displayed in the image above).  Matted pieces are prepared with one inch of matting on the top, left, and right, with two inches of matting at the bottom.  Approximately 1/8” of the white border remains along the matte’s edge on the top, left and right.  The title of the artwork and Sallie’s signature are visible along the bottom of the print.
